Our Philosophy and Commitment:
We're proud of our progressive thinking. We put initiatives and plans into practice so that we can be at the top of our industry. In this same way, our employee development programs are forward-thinking. We want you to feel challenged and rewarded, because satisfied employees lead to happy customers.
At Dow Corning, we truly believe we are only as good as our people.
Dow Corning wants to help our employees become the best in the industry, so much that we'll even help you explore future career interests at Dow Corning.
Dow Corning Corporate Culture:
Of course having industry-leading employees makes sense for our customer-driven focus. But what can we offer these highly trained, fantastic employees to motivate them to stay with us?
Well, there are several things we offer:
- A really different corporate culture - a feeling that everyone (no matter how "high up") is approachable and that we are all part of one great team.
- A great deal of satisfaction in our roles, responsibilities and learning opportunities.
- Employee satisfaction -- every Dow Corning employee probably has a slightly different answer. We just like it here.
We support employees trying new things because we want employees to find this to be a place where they really are excited about what they're doing. We understand that this may change over time -- especially when employees see all the possibilities here. Our philosophy will help our people continue to be proud of their up-to-date training and expanding areas of expertise. Our people are critically important to a cycle of satisfaction that goes like this:
Dow Corning employees are satisfied... customers are satisfied... the company is even stronger... the company can provide even more exciting opportunities for employees... customers are even more satisfied... and so on.
We believe our people will stay with us to be a part of a future that we will all create together with our customers.
