We are open to serve you Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Formative Years opened in the fall of 1986 to provide a professional early childhood education that meets the total needs of growing children in the areas of social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The center has been accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs since 1995.
We provide:
- Teachers with degrees and continual training in the childcare field. They are hired based not only on education and experience qualifications, but also on their sincere desire to serve young children.
- A developmentally based curriculum uniquely designed by each teacher to meet his/her group's needs and structured to teach young children the way they learn - through play and hands-on activities. There is an emphasis on social skills, such as manners, responsibility, and building self esteem. Learning at Formative Years is fun!
- Consistent personal and written communication regarding your child's activities and progress, with professional conferences twice a year.
- Preschool/Childcare, Before and After School Care, and an all day School Age Program when school is not in session for ages 2-10 years.
- Optional activities to assist busy parents arc Fit-N-Fun and Discover Music.
- A safe, clean, fun, and well-equipped facility with a happy smile and greeting each and every day!
