Hospice of Havasu, Inc. has served Lake Havasu City since 1982, bringing a specialized program of comfort-oriented home-based care to incurably ill patients and their families, to meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. The agency is a Medicare certified, state-licensed hospice.
As professional end-of-life care experts, Hospice of Havasu, Inc. uses an interdisciplinary team consisting of a medical director, local physicians, skilled nurses on-call 24 hours a day, certified nursing assistants, chaplains, counselors, social workers, and hospice-trained volunteers. This team works in unison with the patient and their family network to provide specialized in-home care.
Hospice of Havasu is a federally certified as a Medicare Hospice Provider, holds memberships in the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), the Arizona Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (AHPCO), the Better Business Bureau of Northern/Central Arizona, the Veteran's History Project, and the Lake Havasu City and Parker Area Chambers of Commerce.
