The Job Center, the name given to the One-Stop Career System in montgomery County, Ohio, opened for business, June 2, 1997, at 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Boulevard. This 150,000 square-foot facility houses more than 43 different agencies and organizations, from both the public and private sector. For employers, The Job Center provides a pool of qualified, job-ready workers to meet the needs and goals of any organization. The Center provides numerous resources in a single location to help job seekers access work and training programs, including support and health services. The Center is accessible to everyone. There are no income requirements, age limits, or other restrictions. If you have a desire for work, we can help.
Job Bank Resource Center
We offer job seekers; lists of available job openings, information on all local education and training programs, hiring requirements, assistance with job search skills, resume and cover letter preparation, free access to telephone and fax machines, free access to internet job databases, on-site interviewing, and typing and word processing tests and tutorials.
We offer to employers: the largest pool of qualified job seekers in the Greater Dayton Area, Valley, pre-screening services, customized training programs, internet based labor exchange services, incentive programs, specialized testing, traiing seminars, interview rooms for on-site interviewing, Job Fairs, and labor market information.
Our major goalis to "connect individuals seeking employment with organizations needing qualified employees."
