About NPMC
In 1954 the Ouachita Memorial Hospital was founded to meet the medical needs of Garland County and surrounding communities. National Park Medical Center replaced the old Ouachita Memorial Hospital and built a new main facility in 1985.
Today, National Park Medical Center has grown into a 166-bed acute care facility and provides service to a five-county area, including Garland, Hot springs, Montgomery, Pike and Clark counties. National Park Medical Center continues its commitment of excellence in providing quality health care to its community and surrounding service area, while believing that at NPMC, Caring Comes First.
National Park Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is licensed by the state of Arkansas and approved for the acceptance of Medicare Patients.
Mission Statement
