Recognizing that health care is an essential human need, People's Clinic improves our community by providing high quality, accessible health care for people who are medically underserved.
People's Clinic also advocates health promotion, disease prevention and the coordination of community health efforts and resources.

Eligibility and Payment
Our services are available to Boulder County residents who qualify through the enrollment process. In general, we serve individuals and families whose annual income is 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and below (about $37,700 for a family of four) and who do not have health care insurance. We are able to take prenatal patients with some types of private insurance. Interested individuals should schedule an appointment with our enrollment counselors to access services by calling 720-565-4167.
Facts and Statistics:
- People's Clinic is the third largest provider of health care services in the City of Boulder - behind Boulder Community Hospital and Boulder Medical Center.
- People's Clinic serves almost 10,000 patients and provides almost 40,000 patient visits annually - one-third of our patients are children.
- People's Clinic partners with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to provide nursing outreach to the homeless population in Boulder.
- The Clinic partners with the Mental Health Center of Boulder County and the County Health Department's Addition Recovery Center to provide case management and counseling services.
- The Clinic provides prenatal care to over 800 women annually and delivers over 365 babies a year - almost one baby a day on average!
- Our low birth weight rate continues to be about 4% -- half of the State's overall average and proof that good prenatal care works.
- The Clinic successfully immunizes over 90% of one and two year-olds every year.
- Pharmacy services are available through a partnership with the Apothecary providing medications at Federal 340b pricing with a small administrative fee.
- Specialty care is provided by arranging services with local providers through a referral network.
- Through our Drug Assistance Program, we help patients who are eligible access free pharmaceuticals through companies that donate medicines for those in need.
- We give free books to children ages 6 months to 6 years through our nationally affiliated Reach Out and Read program.
- Through our Collaborative Program, we assist our patients with diabetes and depression in a collaborative treatment model to help improve their health status outcomes.
