Our president's 30 years of experience in engineering, automation, and machine shop operations formed the basis of Technical Services, Inc.'s modest beginnings in 1977. Since then we have grown and currently occupy 33,000 square feet of our 58,000 square foot building purchased in January 1990.
Technical Services' biggest asset is our staff. Our success is due to these individuals constantly seeking challenges and consistently producing good results. Our staff of 40 includes engineering, electronics, tool room, and fabrication personnel needed to supply turn-key systems from concept to completion no matter how large or small.
Our manpower, equipment, and facility offer clients a broad range of capabilities. Past projects in automation and mechanization have involved assembly, material processing, material removal, paper handling equipment, and food processing. We design and build computer and programmable logic controller (PLC) based industrial control systems for both new applications or to retrofit existing equipment. We build blanking, forming, and progressive dies. We also provide short-run production machining, welding, and punch press parts.

Compensation/Benefits:
Your salary will be competitive in the market, and is dependent upon your education & experience levels. Technical Services, Inc. also provides discretionary matches and cash bonuses dependent upon company profits, and based on performance. Benefits include:
Insurance:
- Eligible for coverage on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.
- Group Medical, Life, & AD&D Insurance provided at little cost to employees.
- Prescription Card Included with Medical Insurance.
- Dependent Coverage and Dental Insurance available at employee's expense.
Vacation & Holidays:
- Paid Vacation: 5 days after 6 months with Technical Services, Inc., and 10 days annually after 18 months. After 5 years, an additional day/year is added for a maximum of 15 days/year.
- Paid Holiday: Seven (7) throughout the year.
Retirement Benefits = 401(k) Plan:
You are eligible to make deferrals into the 401(k) Plan immediately and company matches start and end as your deferrals do. Regular Company Match of 100% of the first 5% that you defer. Dependent Upon Profits, a Discretionary Match Contribution of up to another 100% of the first 5% that you defer. Graduated Vesting over 5 years, beginning with 25% after 2 years, with an additional 25% annually, until reach 100% vesting after 5 years of service with the company.
Other Benefits:
- When profits allow, Technical Services, Inc., in addition to the Discretionary Contribution to the 401(k) Plan, will pay employees a Cash Bonus.
