Cheyenne Regional is the only hospital from Colorado Springs to Rapid City to offer TomoTherapy, the latest in cancer treatment. Our Heart Center was the first in the region to provide cardiac patients with the drug-eluting stent, 3-D echocardiography and Transmyocardial Revascularization Laser and ranks in the top 8th percentile by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) for providing timely care to heart attack patients (door to balloon in under 90 minutes).
Cheyenne Regional remains a top healthcare provider, creating the first, comprehensive weight loss surgery program in Wyoming. We were also the first in the region to use the revolutionary new X-STOP technology that provides a safer alternative to alleviating a common form of back pain and the first hospital in the country (outside clinical tests) to use the new X-CLOSE procedure to prevent recurrent disc herniations.
