Position Profile:
In this position an individual will be providing interpreting services to students and staff. Interpreting may include use of American Sign Language or English System for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Days and hours will vary each semester depending on student need.
Position Description:
1. Provide interpreting and/or captioning services for students and staff.
2. Ensure effective communication between instructor and student.
Qualifications:
1. 3+ years of interpreting experience.
2. Current State or National Interpreter Certifications preferred.
3. Interpreting experience in an educational or post-secondary educational setting preferred.
