Epitaxy Specialist

This job reports to the New Business Program Development Manager

Relocation is provided and travel is required occasionally.

This is a Full-Time position, working 1st Shift.

Overview
Dow Corning, a U.S. based, multinational corporation and global leader in the silicon-based industry seeks a Epitaxy Specialist for a position at our Auburn, MI facility.

Must have un-restricted employment authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Skills/Requirements
Education Requirements:
MS/Ph.D Materials Scientist, Chemist, Physicist

Seasoned (3-10 yrs) scientist/engineer with proven background in CVD epitaxy of semiconductor films.

First hand knowledge of vacuum systems, epitaxy chemistry and thin film analysis extremely important.

Work experience in pilot or full production areas essential.

Experience working in a team of diverse skills (crystal growth, wafer fabrication, analytical, semiconductor device fabrication) is very important.

Successes evidenced by papers, patents, commercialization of technology/technology transfer, first hand work on commercial products.
