Description:
Responsibilities include:
Serve in a trusted advisor role in all client relationships
Maintain client contact throughout the year
Communicate progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions to clients
Assume responsibility for smooth system flow of tax returns to assure accurate, complete & timely preparation & delivery
Assume full responsibility for larger tax returns
Schedule, staff, and coordinate workflow
Ensure that administrative duties as well as smooth system flow returns are accomplished
Manage multiple tax and accounting projects and client engagements simultaneously
Develop new business for firm through associations
Communicates to appropriate firm personnel important tax and tax developments affecting firm’s clients
Communicates details of fees to clients and assists in billing & collection process
Assume responsibility for staff development and training
Maintain familiarity with staff’s qualifications, reviews assignments for appropriateness
Instruct and facilitate both internal and external training
Requirements include:
Recent accounting firm experience including managing multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements, directing and scheduling staff and managing work flow
Experience with high net worth individuals preferred
9+ years experience in public accounting required
CPA certification
