File Management Specialist

Job Location: Washington, DC

Job Description:
HR Anew, Inc. is currently seeking you to join our team as a File Management Specialist. We have one full-time and two-part-time openings. These HR Anew staff members will provide administrative and clerical support to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency located in Washington, D.C. The normal hours of operation are between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and a few weekends over the course of the year. Successful candidates will work at the client site located in Washington D.C. These positions start October 1, 2006.

Responsibilities include:
* Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail, packages and documents daily. All mail and parcels are placed into individual employee mail slots for approximately 45 employees. Package and ship records.
* Time and date stamp incoming documents, and input checks and invoices into control desk log.
* Key in new and edit existing data into database.
* Identify purchase order numbers against order numbers in the database.
* Establish and maintain hard copy file folders and store in appropriate file cabinets.
* Keep up-to-date inventory list of records.
* Supervise two part-time staff members (full time person only).

Ideal candidate will have:
* 2 years of experience in clerical/administration positions in the accounting, financial, or human resources related field. Associate Arts Degree in Business or some college courses are a plus!
* Basic knowledge of file maintenance is essential.
* Knowledge of National Archives and Records Administration a plus!
* Must be a United States Citizen and eligible for a security clearance.
* Must be able to use a computer and be competent using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
