The candidate will be a member of the Landing Gear and Flight Controls team which is part of the Hydro-Mechanical IPDT team.
The candidate will be part of the new program development team, which is responsible for the conception, specification, design, analysis, integration, development, test and certification of the Landing Gear/flight control and associated systems.
The candidate will participate in the trade-off studies, performance analysis and subsequent integration/certification of the mechanical systems.
The duties will include responsibility for: technical requirement development and validation, system architecture definition, validation/verification activities at all levels, and support of qualification, ground test, flight test and certification activities. This will involve co-ordination of technical issues and resolutions across all Client, Partner/Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties.
Responsibilities: Has the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, be a team player, a self-motivated person, able to work under pressure, show initiative, leadership, a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, and have a good engineering judgment. Basic knowledge of MS Office is required, as well as good communication and technical writing skills.
Qualifications: The candidate shall be a university graduate in mechanical engineering. The candidate has preferably been directly involved with mechanical systems.
