Corporate Compliance Officer

Job Location: Lafayette, IN

Summary:
The Corporate Compliance Officer oversees the Corporate Compliance Program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns within the organization. This position ensures that all employees of the company are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company's Standards of Conduct.

Education and Experience: High school diploma, business degree and five (5) years experience in Health Care Administration.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as Federal Regulation manuals. Ability to compose complex correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before large groups of customers or employees.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret simple graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to feel and to reach with hand and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds.

Computer Experience: Must have prior computer experience and be able to navigate the keyboard well. Knowledge of Window-based systems important to this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees the process of attaining and retaining URAC and legal compliance with job descriptions and recordkeeping. Keeps up to date on compliance issues for Federal, State and Local regulations.

Oversees the process of compiling information necessary in attaining corporation certifications, accreditations, and licensures.

Interfaces with clients and vendors, responding to their needs while complying with company policies and procedures.

Coordinate and manage all client reports ensuring timeliness & accuracy. Troubleshooting as needs arise and making regional visits to audit processes.

Education of all ICM employees with regards to the reporting process.

Report program development and updates through coordination with IT and programmers.

Development of outcomes reporting for new products.

Assist with Quality surveys regarding reports.

Oversee and participate as needed in the Reinsurance Reporting process.

Oversee and participate as needed in the data mining of D2, claims and Pharmacy Benefit Management for Disease Education department.

Participates in quality improvement program as designed by ICM.

Tracks employee in-service training and applied to commission for CEU credits of the corporate training program.

All other duties as essential to the position.

1. As defined in all corporate policies and procedures referring to confidentiality, all employees of Individualized Care Management, Inc. are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all patient-specific and provider-specific information.
2. This position may be filled with a part-time employee at the discretion of the Company. The Company reserves the right to change this status at any time deemed necessary.
3. This is an exempt position. You are paid on a semi-monthly basis, based upon your base annual salary. Any time worked outside of your normal working hours is not compensable.
