Description:
Individual would provide engineering expertise for municipal water treatment and wastewater treatment projects. Projects include preliminary studies, final designs, and trouble shooting existing plants and systems. Must be familiar with current and proposed regulatory requirements and with treatment process alternatives.
This individual would provide the core water and wastewater engineering expertise for our Eastern Iowa office. Responsibilities include project management, assistance with business development, and staff engineer training. Regional/national recognition in environmental (water & wastewater) engineering is a plus.
Individual must be a licensed Professional Engineer with significant engineering experience in study, design, and troubleshooting of water and wastewater plants. Experience and ability in directing and mentoring younger staff is very important. Interest in international travel is a positive.
Initial office assignment is Eastern Iowa. Relocation to another domestic or international office is a possibility. Requires MS or PhD Environment Engineering degree, P.E. in Iowa or Illinois, skills in water or wastewater process design, and 15+ years experience.
Salary Range $100K to $130K depending on experience.
