Description:
Recognized, self-starting individual for water and wastewater systems design in our Des Moines, Iowa Office. This entrepreneurial individual would provide core engineering expertise for municipal water and wastewater systems projects including collection, pumping, treatment, distribution, and storage. Local and regional projects include assessments and studies, troubleshooting existing systems, preliminary and final design, preparation of construction contract documents, and overall project management. This position offers prospect for exciting responsibilities and opportunities including managing projects, overseeing design, mentoring a dynamic young staff, assisting with new business development, participating in professional organizations and technical committees, and potential for working on large domestic and international water and wastewater projects.
Regional/national recognition in environmental (water & wastewater) engineering is preferred. Individual must be a licensed Professional Engineer with significant engineering experience in study, design, and troubleshooting water and wastewater systems. Candidate must be knowledgeable about current and proposed regulatory requirements. Familiarity with treatment processes and membrane technologies is a plus. Requires MS Environmental Engineering, PE and 10+ years experience.
Salary Range $90K to $110K depending on experience.
