Experience:
Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, math, computer engineering, or equivalent. Experience with embedded C/assembly environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-organizational team.
Desired:
Familiarity with basic RF communications and digital signal processing concepts. Co-op work experience, familiarity with Matlab. Willingness to work on quick-reaction projects in support of the sponsor's operational requirements.
Job Description:
Design and develop signal processing algorithms and software for use in novel RF communications and signals exploitation devices and systems for the intelligence community. Develop wireless communications devices. Rapidly code prototype for embedded processes and Windows-based workstations. Participate in field evaluations of developed software. Rapidly modify/update software in the field according to test results and in response to emergent technical and operational requirements. Develop and document formal and informal software requirements and specifications from written high-level specifications and Matlab-based simulations of operational algorithms to support development and testing. Document and present work to sponsors and the technical community.
