Koch Nitrogen Company and its affiliates own and invest in nitrogen fertilizer production and storage capacity in North America, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. The company's fertilizer interests manufacture, market and distribute more than 6 million metric tons of nitrogen products annually. Koch Nitrogen Company owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska which produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. These plants provide fertilizer to customers in Oklahoma, Kansas and the Midwest. Combined, Koch Nitrogen’s fertilizer interests can produce about 6 million metric tons of nitrogen fertilizer annually.

Position Summary
Koch Nitrogen’s Ammonia Plant is looking for motivated and dependable Urea Loaders/Operators to join their Operations Team.
Responsibilities include:
• Inspect and maintain the loading system daily
• Ensure the loading system is properly prepared for working order
• Load the railcars in accordance to the weight requirements
• Identify and report any corrective issues on machinery
• Maintain accurate record keeping of daily activities
• Operate nitrogen plant control systems and monitor plant parameters
• Daily inspections of equipment
• Provide support of day to day operations to produce, store and transfer the fertilizer product in a safe environment
Requirements
• Previous work experience in a plant or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work heavy equipment (i.e. front-end loaders, etc.)
• Knowledge of safety work practices
• Communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a team environment and have the flexibility to perform a variety of duties
• Ability to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and possible level A chemical suit
• High School Diploma
Preferred:
• Previous work experience in a process or manufacturing plant
• Experience in Kellogg NH3, Stamicarbon Urea, or Weatherly UAN Processes
