Montgomery College is a public, open admissions community college with campuses in Germantown, Rockville, and Takoma Park/Silver Spring, plus workforce development/continuing education centers and off-site programs throughout Montgomery County, Md. The College serves more than 55,000 students a year, through both credit and noncredit programs, in more than 100 areas of study.
Job Description:
Montgomery College, is seeking to compile a database of qualified candidates for part-time teaching opportunities. This applicant pool will remain online and provides the ability for the college to locate interested part-time faculty based on student enrollment needs.
Each semester's employment of a part-time faculty member is dependent upon the needs of the College and available funds.
* Part-time faculty must possess a minimum of a Master's degree or appropriate equivalent.
* Part-time faculty positions are Non-Bargaining without benefits.
* Part-time faculty at Montgomery College may teach no more than 10 ESH (equivalent student hours) per semester or 20 ESH per academic year.
* Each part-time faculty member is contracted for one semester at a time.
* Part-time faculty are paid biweekly throughout the semester.

Education & Training:
A Master's Degree or higher in Anthropology or a closely related field is required.
Qualifications:
College level teaching experience is desirable. Knowledge of and commitment to the community college philosophy and mission. Willingness and flexibility to teach day, evening and weekend sections as needed. Ability to integrate technology into course delivery. Ability to teach in a multicultural setting.
