Montgomery College is a public, open admissions community college with campuses in Germantown, Rockville, and Takoma Park/Silver Spring, plus workforce development/continuing education centers and off-site programs throughout Montgomery County, Md. The College serves more than 55,000 students a year, through both credit and noncredit programs, in more than 100 areas of study.
Montgomery College, is seeking to compile a database of qualified candidates for part-time teaching opportunities. This applicant pool will remain online and provides the ability for the college to locate interested part-time faculty based on student enrollment needs.
Each semester's employment of a part-time faculty member is dependent upon the needs of the College and available funds.
* Part-time faculty must possess a minimum of a Master's degree or appropriate equivalent.
* Part-time faculty positions are Non-Bargaining without benefits.
* Part-time faculty at Montgomery College may teach no more than 10 ESH (equivalent student hours) per semester or 20 ESH per academic year.
* Each part-time faculty member is contracted for one semester at a time.
* Part-time faculty are paid biweekly throughout the semester.
Part-time Faculty- Physical Education
Part-time instructors will teach a variety of health and physical education classes, with a possibility of some on-line teaching. Possible classes available in general health, nutrition, general fitness, free weight, strength training, tennis, and golf.

Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree required in health, physical education or a related field.
* Prior teaching experience.
* ACSM, CHES, or nationally recognized certifications preferred.
* A Master's Degree preferred in health, physical education or a related field
