Job Summary:
Installation and alteration of new and existing electrical systems and equipment.
Repair and maintain all types of interior and exterior electrical systems and equipment.
Repair and maintain all types of motors and motor controllers.
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of primary high voltage distribution systems both overhead and underground.
Education and Experience
Required
Degree Vocational/Technical
Experience: Three years of high voltage, motor repair, electronics, troubleshooting control, and electrical construction.
Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within six months of hire and a valid drivers license before hire.
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge Commercial, industrial, and residential electrical experience. Bending conduit, industrial electronics, primary high voltage termination, primary high voltage splicing, electrical metering. Working on ladders and heights, variable speed drive repair, pole climbing, electrical calculations, interpretation of National Electric Code. Job lifting requirements may exceed 50 pounds.
