Job Summary:
Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with published OSU Custodial Standards. Responsible for maintaining restrooms to a very hi8gh level of cleanliness to include the scrubbing of fixtures, showers, bathroom stalls and urinals so that they are bright and sanitary, giving more time and attention when demand exceeds the available toilets. Especially during critical time periods of the day or night.
Clear outside walks and entries of snow and ice.
Report service needs and damages to facilities and equipment that require repairs to Foreman or Action Desk.
Move furniture and equipment as necessary to perform housekeeping work.
Promotional opportunities may exist through established career development plan.

Education and Experience
Required
Degree No Degree
Experience: High school diploma/GED with 0-6 months related experience.
Two years related experience might be substituted for each year reduction in education.
Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses Valid drivers license
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge Ability to lift 50 pounds dead weight. The ability to read and understand MSDS sheets and the department directives.
Preferred
Degree: High School/GED
