Texas Gas Service
Duties:
Turn gas service on and off; install and remove gas meters and regulators for residential customers; operate & maintain company vehicle, tools and work equipment. Investigate customer service orders, high bills, possible gas leaks and low pressure gas. Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical components of gas appliances a plus. Read and interpret maps, atlas pages, house numbers, blueprints, wiring diagrams, pipe sizing tables, and flow charts. Ability to lift up to 110 lbs. climb ladders; stoop, kneel, and crawl on floors and/or bare ground to access, adjust, and/or repair gas appliances, meters, and equipment. Use of company vehicle to travel between locations of customer service calls curing work hours.
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license.
