Description
Provides health care services, which will meet the specific needs of the patient at internal medicine practice under the supervision of a licensed provider.
As such, the individuals responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following activities: Responsible for patient care, accessing patient, assisting provider with procedures, keeping exam rooms and storage areas clean and stocked, referrals and scheduling for surgeries, documentation, ensure all paperwork associated with visit is filed correctly. Administer medications as ordered. Pre-certification and authorization for procedures
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an approved program of practical nursing with an Associates degree.
Minimum Experience:
One year experience in internal medicine practice setting preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
Licensed as LPN in S.C.
Preferred:
CPR & BLS Certification
Other Minimum Abilities/Aptitudes:
Basic PC Skills, preferred.
