Job Description
The Account Executve will be able to solicit, close, and manage customers in an assigned territory. The employee will be responsible for communicating with prospects, customers, and internal personnel to ensure smooth, satisfying customer relationships. This person will sell Qbase products, solutions, and services to meet assigned goals, manage client relationships, and to maintain company standards of ethics and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities:
Sells Qbase services and solutions including but limited to data understanding, data management, scoring and predictive modeling, analytics, and advisory services
Creates client prospect list for assigned territory and stack rank prospects
Conducts prospect visits and builds a needs analysis
Determines individual influences and decision-makers at each organization
Develops and delivers Qbase service and product proposals to meet client’s needs
Works with other Qbase staff to deliver solutions to clients on time and in the manner promised
Closes sale
Meets or exceeds sales goals
Follows-up with clients to insure value and satisfaction with Qbase services
Maintains continual relationships with clients and key prospective clients alike
Builds long-lasting customer relationships
Represents Qbase at professional organizational meetings, conferences, and conventions
Effectively uses the CRM sales database to track contact and sales activity
Maintains accurate customer files

Ability to understand client’s needs, history, and activity cycle
Understand the Higher Education and Nonprofit environment and decision-making process, a plus
Be willing to work independently and as a team
Comfort with working for a fast-growing, start-up company
Willingness to travel
Education and work experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of five years of direct sales experience, fundraising experience with a nonprofit or higher education institution, or five years with a technology vendor
