Job Description:
The Government Business Developer will build Qbase’s presence in the military domain and reports directly to the Government Markets Business Development Director for Military Segments. This professional will focus on sales forecasting, sales prospecting, sales fulfillment, and customer relationship management. The incumbent will develop and manage the Air Force Combat Support Domain sales pipeline to ensure Qbase revenue and sales targets are achievable. This individual will work closely with our executive & operations staff, product managers, marketing, and finance to establish and manage the client fulfillment process and ensure client start-up, client satisfaction, and contract deliverables.
Responsibilities:
* Identifying and monitoring opportunities and responding appropriately
* Managing the capture process for proposals
* Leading proposal development and submission
* Tracking lessons learned for both winning and losing proposals
* Assisting in the development of a marketing & communications strategy for the AF Combat Support domain
* Maintaining prospect database
* Providing training and direction to other members of the Qbase team

* Planning, organizing, and coordinating programs, projects and resources
* Possess high energy, enthusiasm and comfort working in fast-paced environment
* Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities
* Self starter with ability to work autonomously when necessary
* Success in developing business relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in customer organizations
Education and work experience:
* Minimum 10 years experience with government sales or marketing organization, or technology vendor
* B.S., Master Degree preferred in business
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Extensive experience with federal government, agencies and associations
* Proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools, Excel, MS Project
