Position Responsibilities:
1. Provides leadership and management for injection molding operation for Production Supervisors, Molding Engineer and their respective reports in a 24/7 environment.
2. Utilizing Lean Business Principles optimizes application of machine, human, and material resources. Executes production schedule while assuring safety, quality, delivery and cost requirements are met or exceeded.
3. Identifies and implements improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture to provide measurable business performance improvement.
4. Engaged facility leadership team member involved in developing and implementing facility strategic and tactical direction to optimize business safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture utilizing lean manufacturing business principles.
5. High level of ownership, team oriented, detail oriented, accurate and organized. Follows up to assure solutions are effective. Handles multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
1. 10 years manufacturing experience, minimum 5 in leadership role, 5 years minimum in injection molding.
2. 4 year technical degree or equivalent experience
3. Advanced PC skills to include Word, Excel and Access.
4. Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills. Holds people accountable. Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
5. Strong skills in production, materials, quality and lean manufacturing. Sound understanding and application of finance and safety.
Strong mechanical aptitude/skills.
