Job Location: Houston, Texas or any major airport
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will participate in the planning and execution of the overall sales growth of the company, identifying and building the correct mix of channel partners and direct sales personnel to best position the company for short and long term growth.
  • Distribution channel analysis and development.
  • Responsible for creating and managing all elements of channel programs targeted at distributors, manufacturing rep firms, OEMs, etc.
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to the sales and distribution channels.
  • Ability to maximize the sales and profits.
  • Create and implement sales policies and strategies.
  • Plan and manage internal sales communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission and activities throughout all the sales channels.
  • Provide direction and insight to direct and indirect distribution channels.
  • Enhance the company’s value proposition.
  • Participate in the development of brand and product positioning strategies.
  • Provide necessary feedback to shape initiatives and fine tune strategies.
  • A solid people manager with expertise developing, coaching and building a high performance services sales team.
  • Will manage seven (7) direct reports with more to be added : five (5) regional and two (2) specialists.
  • Travel: 50% expected while seeing customers, managing team and driving new business. You may be located in any part of the country near a major airport.
Skills Required:
MUST HAVE Engineering or Business degree.
MUST HAVE seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in the Sales Director position with a US national footprint company. Preferably, this experience will be in measurement and control with extensive experience in providing innovative control products, building automation and industrial automation.

Compensation/Benefits:
Base salary $125K to $175K with 25% bonus.
