Handle product engineering tasks at the manufacturing plant level.
Maintain or coordinate manufacturing system bill of materials and related system data.
Coordinate engineering changes to insure appropriate design, manufacturing, parts planning, and SAP maintenance has occurred.
Participate with various systems, SAP, Axalant, CICS, Tech Library, to insure proper technical documentation pursuant to TS-16949 procedures and requirements.
Disposition manufacturing deviations related to process variation or variations to engineering specifications.
Work with purchasing to build a supply base according to requirements.
Train Quality Assurance and Purchasing department in production/ function related ways of thinking.
Support and implement lean manufacturing concepts throughout job related areas.
Support new products in areas related to engineering specifications. Support building prototype and
pre-production transmissions.
Represent Engineering at customers and support the customers with solving transmission and axle
(drive train) related problems.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
SAP experience highly recommended. TS16949 and ISO 14001 awareness training.
Experience Requirements:
2-4 years of manufacturing experience PREFER AUTOMOTIVE
