Gas Systems Planning Engrs-Pipeline
Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Description:
8 openings at varying levels $60/$120K range or more
Company (which produces, processes and delivers natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquids, is the largest natural gas supplier in the Appalachian basin) has new openings for Pipeline Engineers. The Pipeline Engineer is responsible for all facets of gas gathering system engineering including expansion design, facility planning and optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with Commercial group to design and compile long-term system expansion plans.
Maintains and builds necessary pipeline and compression operating models.
Works with Operations to analyze systems for optimized gas flow and to troubleshoot and engineer solutions for any throughput issues.
Analyzes system expansion economics.
Models customer flow needs and ensures adequate system capacity.
Develops and manages capital budget plans.
Minimum Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, civil or petroleum). Minor in petroleum engineering preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Solid data analysis skills.
- (ENGR II need 2) Five years of related experience which demonstrates a working knowledge of gas gathering systems including production operations, gas measurement, regulators and compression facilities.
- (ENGR III need 2) Ten Years Minimum of same experience (ENGR I need 2) 1+ years similar experience
- Familiarity with the DOT CFR - Part 192 preferred.
