Mechanical Equipment Engineer (AV 3-5-13)

• Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering Degree with three plus years work experience.
• Pipe, sheet metal, and structural fabrication/installation knowledge
• Knowledge of rotating equipment specification, installation and troubleshooting (i.e. pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.)
• Predictive and preventive maintenance experience
• Versed in non-destructive testing techniques
• Knowledgeable in API 653, 510, 574RP, 570 & 572RP
• Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
• Experience with Preparation and maintenance of pipe and equipment specifications
• Ability for Simple AutoCAD drawing preparation and drawing file maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in OSHA 1910.119 (Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals)

• Chemical Plant Experience
• Exposure/Experience with strong HESS programs

• Maintain protection of the environment and the health & safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products, as our highest priority
• Manage the Plant Mechanical Integrity Program
• Participate and lead In Failure Cause Analysis
• Manage capital projects to bring them in on time and on budget
• Develop mechanical inspection budget and manage costs to achieve optimal performance
• Update plant P & ID's as needed
• Take an active roll in HESS related activities from training attendance to leadership roles
• Assure compliance with all aspects of PSM, Responsible Care & Government Regulations
• In addition to base salary the annual bonus target for this position is 15-20%
