Embedded Software Engineer
Job Location: New Jersey
Salary range:
68K to 110K
Domain:
Real-time, highly reliable telecommunications applications embedded in minicomputers, microprocessors, and digital signal processors. Subsystems and systems for command, control, communications and computer systems, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C41SR) applications.
Duties:
Methodologies: under close supervision, uses Object Oriented or Structured software methodologies to accomplish assigned tasks. Process: uses SEI CMM and/or ISO9000 compliant processes to execute assigned software tasks in a team environment. Leadership: Reports task progress using written and oral communications. Planning: estimates personal effort for assigned tasks. Requirements Analysis: assists in analysis of lower-level software components requirements. Design: defines software component architectures. Development: develops real-time embedded applications in structured high-level languages (C, C++, Ada, Java). Integration and test: Integrates and tests real-time embedded systems according to written test plans. Tools: uses minicomputer/mircrocomputer-based software development tools and laboratory test equipment to produce software and documentation compliant with project standards.
Requirements:
US Citizen. BS, BA CS, EE, Math, Physical Science with substantial software coursework.
Ability to gain US Government Secret ( or higher) Security Clearance .
