Job description:
Management of an engineering organization that plans and executes multiple advanced and legacy radar projects. Tasks include combat system integration, radar modeling and simulation, software development, and system testing.
- Managing staff assignments across multiple projects.
- Maintaining a high level of customer contact and satisfaction on assigned projects.
- Providing direct technical support to Navy shipboard radar programs programs.
- Developing new business in the advanced radar domain.
- Writing and presentation skills are essential.
Requirements:
- BSEE, Math, or Physics; advanced degree in these fields a plus and 10-15 years of experience in Navy combat systems and radar systems
- 10 years of engineering experience working with advanced radar systems. Military or Civilian experience in the AEGIS Program or PEO IWS Programs desired.
- 5 years of experience managing military sensor engineering programs. Experience with the contractual, financial and technical aspects of project management is required.
- Experience with business development including customer briefings and proposal development
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
