DSP Intelligence Systems Engineer
Job Location: Dayton, OH
Job description:
Will lead and/or support the design and development of current and future signal processing products across multiple core business areas. Will design, implement and test the processing functions. May be required to work with customers and support some business development initiatives when the need arises.
Requirements:
- BSEE; MSEE preferred; PhD a plus and a minimum of 10+ years relevant experience required.
- Strong knowledge of signal processing concepts in both the analog and digital domains.
- Experience in designing digital signal processing algorithms for us in FPGAs and software.
- Understanding of RF concepts and usage scenarios.
- Ability to design, implementing, and test algorithms in hardware and software.
- Preferred algorithm experiences would include adaptive filtering, Kalman-based processing, PLLs, discrete transforms, beamforming and modulation/demodulation.
- Understanding of concepts such as phase noise, SFDR, BER, and NPR tests a must.
- Proficiency with some or all VHDL/Verilog, C/C++, Linux, Matlab and/or X-Midas is required.
- Must be experienced in COTS and designs that meet high reliability requirements.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret or higher clearance preferred
