Electrical Program Manager
Job Location: Philadelphia, PA
Salary:
$70,000 - $90,000
Duties Experience Comments
Job description:
Develop and manage an electrical business plan for an assigned product or market. Develop, track and define products that fulfill the customer‘s needs by interfacing with OEM electrical groups. Develop electrical business plans for specific products or markets. Manage the workload and activities of the EE Project Engineers. Create Gantt chart timing for a new project in the EE Group ensuring that resources are available to support the required deliverables. Also, maintain the Gantt Chart during the development cycle and develop action plans when needed. Work with a cross functional team in selecting the appropriate design and manufacturing process to meet the product requirements. Implement/enforce the EE launch process. Develop relationships with key engineering contact at the OEMs. Keep abreast of new technologies, architectures, manufacturing processes, and applications.
- Support the sales/marketing groups in developing new presentations to help define new products or technologies. Develop cost and timing for RFQs entered into the Electrical Dept.
- Perform internal audits on programs to ensure compliance to the new EE process.
- Support the continuous improvement of the EE process
- Manage and coordinate advanced projects that are not officially launched into the EE process.
- Work with Human Resources to identify possible candidates for the Electrical Engineering Department.
Requirements:
- BSEE, along with at least 3 or more years experience in program management and 5 or more years experience in an electronic environment.
- Preference is to be strong in ANALOG and DIGITAL circuit design.
- Demonstrate good skills in communication, project scheduling, and management of electrical designs.
- International travel may be required
