Manager, Software Engineering
Job Location: New York
Description:
BSEE/CS (MSEE/CS preferred) or equivalent. Responsible for all software efforts related to Networking Products. Software includes Ethernet Controller device drivers for various operating systems (e.g., Linux, WinCE, etc.) including real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks), embedded systems software, systems application software, and ASIC validation software. Manager will work with technical leads to gather project requirements, make resource assignments, manage software development schedules and improve development processes. Manager is responsible for planning for and maintaining multi-million dollar engineering budgets. Manger also makes regular reports to senior management, interfaces to Marketing and Sales to manage customer expectations, makes procurement decisions, recruits for additional staffing, and writes annual performance appraisals. Candidate must have at least 15 years of embedded software development and/or project management experience.
Salary:
120K - 130K plus Options
