.NET Application Developer
Job Location: Southwest Connecticut
Salary Range:
$75,000 -$ 99, 000
Duties Experience Comments
This is a Sr. Level Solid Application Developer position and will be mentoring one local Jr. Developer and a few Developers that are just learning .NET located at one of the other facilities.
Very visible position for the right person.
3 to 5 years experience in developing application solutions on the Microsoft Platform. The Candidates primary responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, implementing and supporting enterprise NET/ASP/VB intranet and distributed applications.
The candidate will be required to develop all layers of n-tier architected solutions including data-tier database design and development, middle-tier business logic and data access, and presentation-layer user interface, utilizing both windows and web forms.
Experience with web service development is also required
The successful, qualified candidate will have solid, proven experience with VB.NET, ASP.NET, IIS, HTML, XML, and web services, and past experience and the ability to support legacy applications with VB 6 and ASP.
Candidates must also have a working knowledge of SQL Server development (currently standard is SQL 2000) including T-SQL, Stored Procedures, DTS, User Functions, and triggers as well as relational database design skills and practical hands-on experience integrating SQL with the .NET platform (ASP.NET, VB.NET).
Relocation varies on a case by case situation
