Provides implementation of occupational therapy services to individual patients according to the practices of Occupational Therapy under the guidance and supervision of an OTR. These services include structured evaluations, treatment, and documentation following the guidelines established by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams as appropriate for patient needs.
Qualifications:
2-year/Associate's Degree. Currently licensed by the SC Board of Occupational Therapy. Currently certified by the NBCOT. Must have high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category:
Regularly exposed to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category I). May be exposed to chemical hazards on a regular basis (Category A).
Physical Requirements:
Exert up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking. Performs repetitive tasks/motions. Must pass fit test for respiratory mask required for AFB isolation.
