Working Hours: Dependent on class time and clinical. May include evenings and Saturdays.
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides instruction in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical settings for all aspects of the evening Practical Nurse program as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
--Prepares course syllabi and other materials needed to support consistency in instruction
--Reviews course materials for content consistency with administrator or designee prior to instruction
--Presents instruction in a manner consistent with other PN program lesson objectives
--Performs and reports to lead faculty member paperwork related to the assignment, including completion of all required reports
--Serves as an advisor for Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA)
REQUIREMENTS
--BSN (or BS if granted prior to July 2001 is required)
--Kansas RN license with two years current occupational experience
--CPR certified
--Demonstrates basic word-processing knowledge
--Complies with hiring requirements of WATC
--Obtains at own expense yearly TB test and other immunizations or physical examinations as required by clinical sites
--Has current Kansas driver s license
