Qualifications:
Must be a High School graduate or have G.E.D. CCT certification required. Basic EKG course for cardiac arrhythmias. One year EKG Technician experience
Responsibilities:
Performs electrocardiograph and other related examinations for patients as directed according to established standards and practices. Performs Holter Scanning and Electroencephalograms.
Department:
The Cardiology department at Gettysburg Hospital provides noninvasive cardiac testing for inpatients and outpatients. Cardiology services are integrated with a diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab and cardiac rehabilitation program within Gettysburg Hospital Heart Center giving patients access to specialized diagnostic capabilities and continuity of care. State of the art technology including sophisticated patient information technology, digital imaging and picture archive communication is used to provide high quality, leading edge cardiology testing services.
