Description:
Ensures that electronic medical records system application modules meet quality control standards. Takes the lead role in assessing the risk landscape across UMG/GHS in partnership with the practices. Works with GHS Medical Records, Risk Management, Corporate Compliance, UMG Management, and GHS leadership to conduct risk assessments and develop action plans. Customizes technology risk assessment programs. Partners with outpatient practices to complete technology risk assessments and medical record audits in support of various regulatory and business requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in health care related field with five (5) years experience in Health Information Management and Electronic Medical Records Management in an outpatient/large physician practice setting and Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Certification required. Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics preferred.
Minimum Salary: $21.51/Hour
