Job Description:
Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures including the use of each system utilized by PBX Operators. Monitors, responds to and insures data update of hospital critical systems including response and knowledge of Life Safety systems. Operates a PBX console in a high energy office. Provides outstanding customer service to all staff, community, physicians, and patients utilizing the phone system, voicemail, pagers as well as the PC and Telephone accessed pager system. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Performs other duties as assigned.
