Job Details:
-Pharm D degree required.
-1 year of professional practice experience required.
-A hospital residency is preferred.
-Must posses a working knowledge of the pharmacological properties of antithrombotic drugs.
-Valid Maryland state licensure as a Pharmacist is required.
-Pharmacology board certification is highly desirable.
Job Duties:
This position is responsible for effective management of the Anticoagulation Management Service (AMS) operated by the Pharmacy department. Coordinate the design, implementation and quality assessment of the inpatient ACS. Assist with the establishment of safe, appropriate, and economic practices regarding anticoagulant medications.
