Its subsidiaries operate terminals and docks located along the U.S. Pacific Coast, Great Lakes and Gulf Coast, as well as northern Europe and South America. Position Summary
Koch Mineral Services is seeking a motivated and self driven Market Risk Manager to join our team in Wichita. This key position provides the opportunity to work in a very dynamic environment where things can change quickly. This individual will have a significant impact on the trading activities of our company as well as exposure to high-level management. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Analyze, estimate, and understand aggregate market risk of Koch Mineral Services commodities
• Monitor and evaluate daily trading activities
• Calculate stress scenarios to analyze the effects of extreme market events
• Track, analyze, and communicate current and past trading performance
• Collaborate with credit risk management to quantify risks and encourage risk/reward thinking
Requirements
• 3+ years of market risk related experience in a trading/risk environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; VBA experience a plus
• Familiar with Monte-Carlo simulations and risk estimation through parametric methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Preferred
• 5 years of related experience in a trading/risk environment
• Experience with commodities trading
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance
