Position Summary
1. Customer Service
Provide quick, effective, and high-level customer service.
Present a professional, and gracious attitude toward customers, with neat and clean appearance.
2. Knowledge and skills
Must have good verbal and writing skills.
Must have general computing skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, Access.
Understand emergency and routine response procedures.
Be prepared to work all security positions - Console, Foot, Vehicle, Employee Entrance, Lobbies, and Courtesy.
3. Teamwork
Maintain a positive attitude and try to foster that in others by example.
Function as a team player within the department and company.
Support the access control and reception areas as requested.
4. Continuous Improvement
Continually upgrade skills and help others to do the same.
Help the department improve with policy and procedure development, providing and developing training, organizing and standardizing equipment, routines, schedules, etc.
Maintain and update call lists, processes and procedures, and other manuals to ensure up-to-date information.
Requirements
Must be able to work shift schedule with occasional overtime.
Possess and maintain a valid Kansas State Driver’s License.
Pass and maintain Red Cross certifications on CPR/First Aid/AEDs Abide by and enforce all regulations, policies, and procedures.
Physical Demands/ Unusual Working Conditions Required
Extended periods of sitting, walking, and driving.
Viewing multiple video sources and computer screens to determine appropriate actions.
Ability to provide motor vehicle assistance to include - tire changes, jumpstarts, etc.
Ability to move rolling bins greater than 200 pounds.
Work Experience/Skills PREFERRED
Security Related Field/Customer Service
Education REQUIRED
High School Diploma
Education PREFERRED
Some college or experience in a related field
