JOB DESCRIPTION:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate and implement plans for nutritional needs.
- Assess nutritional needs of patient and provide education.
- Promotes and supports all Team Mercy standards of quality customer service.
- Promotes continuous quality improvement in operations and in job performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. Registered by the American Dietetic Association and holds a valid Kansas License for Dietitians.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Requires experience as a Clinical Dietitian in an acute care setting.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to perform professional duties independently.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and be able to lift, push, bend and carry loads of up to 10 pounds. Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.
