Position Overview: Participates in the delivery of patient care during the pre-hospital Emergency Department tertiary and inter-facility settings at the Basic and Advanced Life Support level in cooperation with other departmental personnel. Participates in the care and maintenance of facilities equipment and supplies. Ensures quality patient care through ones actions and the adherence to all policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: " In cooperation with peer employees ensures the effective planning coordination & utilization of shift personnel to provide quality patient care. " Proficiently performs the role of the MICT to provide quality patient care. " Promotes and supports all Team Mercy standards of quality customer service. " Promotes continuous quality improvement in operations and in job performance.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Current certification as MICT in the State of Kansas.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Previous ALS or BLS experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Completion of the RCEMS orientation program and competency check is required. Verification of BLS ACLS PALS and Hazardous Material Awareness is required at time of hire or within 6 months of hire. Current Kansas driver's license with minimum moving violations. Positive KBI background check.
