Position Overview: Assesses evaluates and educates patients with disorders of the Cardiopulmonary System. Provides ordered or protocol driven therapeutic and diagnostic cardiopulmonary services to patients in the sub-acute acute and critical care setting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assesses evaluates and educates patients about conditions of the cardiopulmonary system.
Provides ordered or protocol therapeutic and diagnostic services related to conditions of the Cardiopulmonary System.
Promotes and supports all Team Mercy standards of quality customer service.
Promotes continuous quality improvement in operations and in job performance.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS CRT or eligible credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care; Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts; Basic Life Support affirmation.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to work independently and perform effectively several simultaneous activities.
