Position Overview: This position will provide triage direct and indirect patient care in the emergency services setting. This setting requires staff to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides comprehensive nursing care within the framework of the nursing process. Provides complete communication of nursing care and patient's response to care. Collaborates with patients families and other members of the health care team. Promotes and supports all Team Mercy standards of quality customer service. Promotes continuous quality improvement in operations and in job performance.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS One year of acute care medical surgical and/or pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Completion of MRHC ED orientation and competency checklist is required. Verification of BLS ACLS PALS and TNCC is required at the time of hire or within 6 months of hire.
