POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position performs diagnostic radiology procedures in a office setting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assess the patient, ordered examination(s), pre and post exam preparation, education and scheduling.
Performs diagnostic procedures according to protocol.
Promotes and supports all Team Mercy standards of quality customer service.
Promotes continuous quality improvement in operations and in job performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Must be ARRT registered. Must be licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1 to 3 years experience in a hospital setting required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to read and comprehend procedural documents and alphabetize or place documents in numerical order. Moderate writing and computer skills are required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to push and pull heavy equipment, and regularly lift up to 25 lbs. May be required to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. Some bending and stooping and standing for extended periods of time.
